Spectacular, large scale street productions with giant puppets,
   stilt walkers, dancers, and musicians

"Pagans or Christians" - the first in its kind large scale ’walking’ street theatre performance being produced for the occasion of the millennium in year 2000 with the aim to give the Budapest Spring Festival a very special start. The performance was in reality a very special and unique one, with its more than 300 actors, musicians, stilt walkers and dancers who performed the production all along Andrassy út in Budapest. Speciality of the performance, besides having an enormous number of participants, was that it also had a very strong spiritual background by having a 40 member Christian choir on the ’Christian side’ and 12 real shamans on the ’pagan side’. Creators of the performance were: Director: István Somogyi, with the help of János Pályi in terms of giant puppets and stilt walkers, Designer: Szilard Boraros from Prague and Erzsebet Turi, music by: Balazs Szokolay Dongo and Robert Kerenyi ’Szigony’, choreography by: Gábor Mihályi.
